Wendy Little is a comedian, actor, writer, composer and self-confessed failed tooth fairy.

Wendy is the founding member of musical comedy trio The Sheryls - rock queens who burst onto the comedy scene like a festering boil during the 1998 Melbourne Fringe Festival. The Sheryls were infamous for their irreverent mix of live songs and improvisation, dazzling audiences in festivals round the world.  In 2002 The Age wrote that The Sheryls were like "The Doug Anthony All Stars with a sex change". When The Sheryls ran into Tim Ferguson from DAAS during a radio interview he said "I'm you - before the sex change!"

Wendy has performed at many stand-up comedy venues in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Edinburgh, (her personal highlight being the warm up act for a meat tray raffle at a Port Adelaide pub). Wendy has also performed in a zillion seasons at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival, and the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals. She needs a nana nap just thinking about it.

Wendy has been seen on the telly, in such shows as "Upfront 8" (ABC), "The Great Debate" (TEN), "Standing Up" (ABC), Comedy Channel, Channel 31 (The Loft, Squeal, Raucous, Champagne Comedy, Hellbent, The Comic Box), Glued to the Telly (ABC), The Footy Show (9). She has also been heard on the radio on Triple J (Merrick & Rosso), 3RRR, 3PBS, 3AK, and Southern FM.

Her penchant for funny songs, most likely stems from her parents. They performed in Gilbert and Sullivan productions and left six-month old Wendy backstage in a bassinet. She was either destined to be a musical comic or the very model of a modern major general.
